July 7, 2000 Hi Brenda & Bill, We arrived in Salt Lake City after 2 long days of driving from Louisville. We stayed in Kearney, Neb., last night. We called the boys at Debbie's — they are busy with Nintendo. Stayed up late to watch the Tour de France. The drive has been pleasant with Mom and Dad. Take turns sleeping, reading, talking. We arrived at Mary Margaret and Don's house about 6:30 PM. Went to a good Vietnamese restaurant for supper and then to REI fo a little shopping. Saw a few antelopes today. The mountains are majestic. Some have snow on them. Tomorrow — a long drive to Eugene, Ore. Love, Paula.
